The Character Creator we use is the one available when you initially log in. All the prcs will be there.
Be sure to visit the Making A Character section of our forum before making a PC.
Devastating Critical feat is banned also see others at forest-of-woe.proboards.com/thread/2707/prc-feats-banned-broken
Rebuilds: If you need to correct a mistake or rebuild, use the HP Soul Stone for this.
Required Downloads are available on the forum at forest-of-woe.proboards.com/thread/12/required-downloads.
Please check out our optional downloads for custom music, portrait pack etc. This music pack has been created from a wide variety of songs and music we think really adds to the atmosphere of the game. It is used for both the jukebox feature and areas. The download and installation instructions are available on our Optional Hak Page.
Samples of what the music pack has to offer can be found at: forest-of-woe.proboards.com/thread/2395/custom-music-pack
The entire Welcome area is set so you can rest before entering the game.
Starter Area: Harrowport

Starter Dungeons are a small crypt in the Southern Outskirts of Harrowport or a slightly tougher one down the Harrowport Well (or in the ruined tower Harrowport - Western Outskirts). Starting equipment available at Mauler's, a small cave behind the hill in the Harrowport Western Outskirts or Hammerbeard's Smithy.
Please see the section in the forum called "Making A Character" for some banned and bugged prc classes/races.

Flying is done using "jump" by right clicking on your mouse and selecting "assign special abilities" on the radial. Quick Slot for ease of use.
If you make a mistake in building, please contact a DM or leave a PM for DM Silver and we will help you correct this. The first class you initially chose will of course be the same unless the PC is bugged.
When you start to play you will receive your starting XP, gold and etc. when you enter the game by the main portal.
Tokens/ Widgets: There are the standard widgets/tokens plus three additional ones.
There is a Crafting Token and players can gain skill in jewel crafting with our custom gem pack, alchemy, fletching and many more. Use the crafting token on your pc and you will be able to see all your crafting scores.
The details are under General Player Board - Crafting System on the forum.
forest-of-woe.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=craftingsystem
Crafting supplies are available in Harrowport at Luke’s General Goods & Crafting Supplies, Everwatch Crafting Hall in the Docks Market, the crafting hall at The Crag or in the dwarven fortress of Bizirim. For those starting out, metal ore can be safely mined from the Deep Forge beneath the Royal Courthouse in Everwatch's Royal Garrison District or in the caverns of the dwarven fortress (gem ore also at this location).
Empty commodity bundles can be bought from craft merchants and used to store vast quantities of a single item ie: gem ore, ingots etc. To store an item right click and target the item in your inventory, this will create a bundle of that item. You must be in a commodity area to use the bundles to store or recover. Crafting halls and some other areas near mining/harvesting areas have commodity areas and you will get a message each time you enter or exit an area.
The HP Soul Stone is used to save your character plus it allows you to switch languages etc. Also this saving allows you to return to this spot when you log in again using the Welcome area portal.
The XP Token is an unique feature which allows you to award other players you think have rped well with xp points. For every hour of game time you accumulate 5 xp points to a maximum of 400.
Languages: The language are available in the OOC room. You access the OOC room by typing *afk* and to leave use the portal which takes you back to where you were. The number of languages you can have is based on your Lore skill.
OOC Room: There is a starter merchant with two animation wands in two separate sections. One wand is PG 13 and includes waltzing. The other contains adult "social" animations. Also sold now are some neat visual effect items.
The cloak merchant has a wide variety of styles and in some of the towns in the server are tailor shops with cloak models, tailoring models and dye kits.
The tailor models allow you to create your outfit before entering the game and do not cost gold. There are additional skirts under "belts" but please set thighs and pelvis to invisible under the bell like skirts as the way the skirt is constructed, as the character moves it reveals a little bit what is underneath.
Unique in the OOC Room is the appearance changer. Here you can customize your character to add a tail or wings if the race allows, change heads or colors and now under NWN1EE players can somewhat adjust PC height. When selecting try going backwards in the numbers as well as it seems more appear for some reason. You can also change your portrait here.
Once you are ready use the portal, our starter area for new players is Harrowport.
Death rules: If you die ingame you have some choices:
1. There is a corpse system by which you hit respawn and a corpse is left for your companions to take to the Selune temple in Harrowport for a free raise. Do not leave the death plane, you will appear in the church after your friends talk to the priest.
2. Hit respawn but do not leave the death plane or talk to the spirit. After the server resets you will appear in the welcome area alive and well.
3. Take respawn and talk to the spirit where you will re-enter the game again with a 50 xp loss per level and 10% gold. No losses under level 10.
4. Wait for a kind soul to wander by. Do not contact someone to come and raise you, that is meta-gaming.
No death or gold loss under level 10.
In the Leaping Heart Inn you will see a bard. Here and in some additional places is a “juke box” style bard. You can select from a list of songs to play including ones from a book of additional songs whose title you can type in.

If you take the Thieves' Guild quest in Harrowport and the server reboots/crashes before you can do it, take the quest again as it resets.
Exploring: We offer a wide variety of areas ranging from starter dungeons to epic level. Around Harrowport are the starter, lower level dungeons.
Other Areas: There are several towns and the capitol city, Everwatch for you to explore. Each offer stores with a variety of items you will not find in Harrowport.
In the Everwatch library are sold handy books on crafting and crafting item locations.
The Temple of The Winds portals allow for travel around the server. At the Temple of Waukeen (House of All Plenty) in Everwatch - Outskirts North, Mauler's shop near Harrowport in a cave located in the Western Outskirts etc. is sold a Portal Stone with unlimited uses. In your travels when you find a ring of stones you can place the stone in the center pillar to teleport to the temple. In the temple a book on the table tells you which portal goes to where.
News of the various areas can be found under Rumours, Plots and Mini Events on the forum.
Portraits: If you have a portrait for your PC you would like to have added to the server please send it to hadesobsession@gmail.com
A custom portrait pack and submitted portraits are available under Optional Downloads.
We hope you enjoy Harrowport
